Bird Watching in Wilpattu – Wilpattu National Park harbours 252 bird species including four endemics. There are many types of vegetation to be found in Wilpattu such as Dry mixed evergreen forest, Villus with aquatic vegetation, grassland, scrub-land, two rivers and riverine forest.  It’s an ideal location to spot wetland species, aquatic and array of forest bird species.
